Additional Information: This cross is an absolute "must have". The cross was made three ways (M. coccinea alba x M. Annette Hall), (M. Annette Hall x M. coccinea alba) and (M. coccinea 'Carnea' x M. Annette Hall) and for the most part, the results have been absolutely stunning as far as the color goes. The form has run the gamut from great to marginal, but even the marginal ones would make a nice addition to any collection. For the most part, the color came from M. Annette Hall. The pink one in the bottom center was made with M. coccinea alba 'Snowbird' as one of the parents.

Van O'Brien is one fantastic Airedale rescue volunteer in Kansas. While this cross was chosen for her based on a photo of the first flower to bloom, little did we know that it was a good choice. This cross is as varied as Van's talents when it comes to rescue. She helps with transport, fostering, making items to raise money and just generally pitching in where needed. Van is shown here with her daughter, Stacey (on the left) and four of their furry friends, who also help with rescue.
