Masdevallia Pony Tails (M. glandulosa x M. macrura)
Plant ID: 01732/01360/02552,2547(top row), 02554/02547,02554(bottom row)
Other Information: Where did the yellow come from? This flower looks more like a small, delicate M. macrura. There seems to be no evidence of the pretty color from M. glandulosa in most of these flowers, but the flower to the left does have some magenta hairs. The colors have been variable from a fleshy rose color to the far right to a flower with bright gold caudae second from the right to golden sepals, second from the left. Most have maroon spots, some have maroon or magenta hairs. Some flowers have a more cupped form than others. |
