Masdevallia Terry Kratchman

(M. infracta x M. Monarch)

Plant ID: 03607/03565/03553

Additional Information: M. Monarch is M. macrura x M. veitchiana. The longer tails come from M. macrura and the color comes from M. Monarch as a whole. The M. infracta parent seems to have darkened the color a little and taken out the "electric" qualities of M. Monarch. What doesn't show up well in the photo is that the flower is a little translucent.

Terry Kratchman handles Airedale rescue in the states of Kansas and western Missouri. She seems to have endless energy to help the Airedales and a firey personality when it comes to the welfare of the dogs. The color of this flower perfectly reflects this. However, there is a certain translucency to the flower that allows people who know Terry to "see through" this personality to her soft side. Terry is a gem to work with.

Shown here with Terry are two bedraggled Airedales just taken into rescue before being groomed.
