Dracula houtteana (Rchb.f.) LuerNamed in honor of M. Van Houtte of Ghent, Belgium, who "entertained a very cordial friendship for his young countryman" Patin from whom he had received living plants.

Additional Information: A variable species-complex found in Colombia from 5,900 feet (1,800 m) to 8,000 feet (2,440 m).
