The genus Aberrantia (a-bur-AN-tee-uh) is a new genus consisting of one species that used to belong to the genus Pleurothallis, subgenus Aberrnatia. This genus is distinguished by thick, reverse wedge-shaped petals that are divided into small lobes at the tips and a long, claw-shaped lip.
